MOMgienists are blessed with the gift of motherhood and the opportunity to raise little humans that will one day make a difference in our world. With such a gift comes the challenge of juggling ourselves, interests, or professional career. Support is necessary for working mothers to carry on with our professional goals from our spouses, children, and professional network.
Jasmin attended the CAREERFusion discovery event for 4.5 days. CAREERFusion is "a group of thought-leaders, coaches, and healthcare professionals focused on helping you move toward new career opportunities." Jasmin explains in this brief interview that it was more than that for her. As she ventures into the world of the unknown and outside of the operatory, she has found a group of genuine people who look to support you in achieving your goals. She met fellow MOMgienists who understood the struggles of motherhood and were there to give her laughter, hugs, an encouraging word, or just allow her to cry (she hates that by the way!).
Listen in to hear about her experience! Christie and Jasmin also share how valuable their friendships have been as they navigate motherhood.
We hope you can join 2018 for the CAREERFusion discovery event! You will not regret it!

Mommas, have you heard of a Doula? A Doula is a “trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.”
Meet Christina! Christina is a certified Doula that assisted in the birth of Jasmin’s second daughter. Jasmin’s experience was unforgettable and empowering. In this episode learn what a doula is, the services they provide, the cost of their services, how to become a doula, and why every birthing woman should have a doula for birth and postpartum recovery.
Biggest takeaway: Do your own research, be your own advocate, find a provider that fits your desire for your birth plan.
