Mommas, have you heard of a Doula? A Doula is a “trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.”
Meet Christina! Christina is a certified Doula that assisted in the birth of Jasmin’s second daughter. Jasmin’s experience was unforgettable and empowering. In this episode learn what a doula is, the services they provide, the cost of their services, how to become a doula, and why every birthing woman should have a doula for birth and postpartum recovery.
Biggest takeaway: Do your own research, be your own advocate, find a provider that fits your desire for your birth plan.

The symptoms of anxiety are real, ugly, and uncontrollable at times. Many persons experience anxiety in various forms. Jasmin shared her intimate thoughts and experience with anxiety. You can tell from the beginning of the recording that she was tired. She is a well-accomplished hygienist that often copes with challenges in a rockstar way. Mommas often forget that everyone needs some time to rest including themselves.
Jasmin helped her anxiety with meditation, talking it out with close friends, and using the podcast to shed light on this topic. Takeaway: Don't be afraid to reach out for help! You are not alone.
